I have said before that the whole platform of the Rushpubliscum Party for years is condensed nicely into two things: all wealth to the rich, and make racism respectable again (great for Rushpubliscum elitists, who are nearly all racists.)
And every day, they get more and more blatant about who and what they really are all about.
Take, for example, Connie O’Brien, who hails from the Kansas Klanservative Klavern. She has decided that she is an excellent judge of who is, and who is NOT, a REAL American.
Guess what her methodology of determining who is authentic happens to be?
Democrats on Monday called on a Leavenworth County lawmaker to apologize for comments she made last week at a hearing on legislation to repeal a law granting in-state tuition to children of illegal immigrants.
Rep. Connie O’Brien, a Tonganoxie Republican, was speaking in favor of rescinding the law when she recounted a story about a student she saw while enrolling her son at Kansas City Kansas Community College last year.
The female student was in line to pick up scholarship money but couldn’t provide a driver’s license or other government ID to the clerk, O’Brien recalled. Yet the woman said she had driven to the college that day.
“We could tell by looking at her that she was not originally from this country,” O’Brien said.
Another lawmaker asked O’Brien how she could tell the woman wasn’t a legal citizen.
O’Brien replied: “Well, she wasn’t black, she wasn’t Asian and she had the olive complexion.”
I’m not sure exactly what she meant by “she wasn’t black, she wasn’t Asian.” I’m sure the answer to that question would give us a fascinating perspective on how Connie thinks.
Her judgment on the young lady trying to enroll in college based on nothing more than her complexion, of course, ALREADY gives us a lot of perspective on how O’Brien sees things. It’s nothing that surprises any of us, of course.
We understand the Klanservative mindset all too well.
