Does SHE EVER Finish Anything?

I knew about, but pretty much ignored, the protests the other day when Caribou Barbie promised to sign a thousand books and then skipped out before honoring her commitment.
Since it makes a nice lead-in to this story, however, let’s take a quick look.
Based on the video (found here), the scene in Noblesville, Ind., at the end of Sarah Palin’s appearance looked more like a protest than a book signing.
Outside the Borders bookstore in Noblesville (wouldn’t it be great if it was a Barnes & Noble in Noblesville?), dejected Sarah Palin fans shouted, “Sign our books! Sign our books!” as her personalized bus sputtered and prepared to drive away.
Some booed as they held fresh copies of “Going Rogue” without a wet signature from Palin. However, they were plenty wet from the rain they had been waiting in.
The estimated 100 or so disappointed fans were reportedly given signed pieces of paper, while some demanded refunds. But click here and take a look at the photo of how many fans there were during the signing.
Palin quickly addressed the disgruntled crowd in a Facebook post titled “Not enough hours in the day.”
There have never been enough hours in the day for Caribou Barbie, who has walked away from nearly everything anything she ever started. College, news gigs, the Governorship of Alaska.
And now, in a neat little twist that only Caribou Barbie can provide us, she walked away from a run.
Yeah. She walked off a run.
On Wednesday, Sarah Palin excitedly announced on Twitter that she was going to be running a 5K Turkey Trot charity race in Washington state on Thanksgiving day. Large crowds of people turned out to catch Palin at the race, hoping to get the chance to meet the former Alaska governor. Palin, however, quit the race early to avoid many of her fans:
Palin had announced on Twitter that she would be running the 5k race organized by the Benton-Franklin Chapter of the Red Cross.
She didn’t finish the race, opting to leave the course early to avoid more crowds at the end. About 40 minutes into the run, word started trickling out to people gathered at the finish line that she was gone.
Wonkette also points out that Palin said she wasn’t going to be making a turkey dinner for Thanksgiving because it was “too much work.”
We all know that work is something the Wasilla Hillbilly avoids like a cat avoids water. And yet, as I troll the right wingosphere today, I see excuse after excuse made for this pathetic quitter.
They is most certainly a lot of stupid white people in the “real America.”

The Mudflats blog even did some investigating into the whole “bus tour” she is on. What is happening is, she is flying by private plane courtesy of the Samaritan’s Purse charity and getting on the bus to go to the venues. AYUP girl does diva very well.

That’s how much of a maverick Palin is…the rules requires completion but she went rogue. That’s the American way!
Besides…only commie liberals run for charity.

Noblesville is on the outskirts of Indianapolis and along with Carmel Indiana are where the upper crest of wealth reside. Wonder how their Barbi stacks up now!

Yep, I doubt she’ll show up for Nashville…
What a loser.

Bee she’ll show up, just for the money. There is six figures involved from all the stuff I have seen written about the event. I just wish this wenches 15 minutes were up already. Hell I did my 5k in a little more than 30 minutes and that was having to walk some of it. Still not up to pre accident running distance or speed yet, but getting there.

Yeah, Caribou Barbie is money-grubbing white trash, so she’ll surely show up for that.

At this rate she’ll self-destruct politically before the nomination process for 2012 gets started. Insulting your enemies is one thing, disappointing your supporters is quite another.
