It Appears I Owe Her An Apology

HEIL Bachmann!

Awhile back, we looked at the hanging death of Bill Sparkman, which came on the heels of Frau Bachmann’s avowals that she wouldn’t fill out her Census forms. According to Frau Bachmann, it  was all some kind of survey by the Communist Government of Comrade Obama for the purpose of deciding who to stick into internment camps.

I thought at the time that Bachmann’s loony rhetoric probably got this guy killed. I happened to be wrong about this one.

Investigators have determined that Bill Sparkman, the census worker who was found dead with an anti-federal government message scrawled on his body, committed suicide. There’s some political news here: Coming as it did the day of the taxpayer march on Washington, days after Rep. Michele Bachmann became the most prominent Republican to urge non-compliance with the census, it’s good news for conservatives that Sparkman’s death was not a politically-motivated homicide.

Perhaps. But there are plenty of other deaths that we can attribute to the Rushpubliscums, both here and abroad.

So we got this one wrong. Sadly, the one we got wrong pales in comparison to the ones we got RIGHT. The rhetoric of Bachmann and her ilk is undeniably linked to the murders of policemen in Pennsylvania, museum visitors in Washington, DC, and churchgoers in Tennessee.

And there will be more. Because these scumbags do not learn from their mistakes, nor do they care how many people get hurt because of the things that they say.

At least you can admit you’re wrong.More than her type will do.

I don’t buy it, and I don’t think you were wrong. I know that area pretty well – my mother’s kin comes from that part of Kentucky, and people disappear up in the hollers all the time, never to be seen again, and yeah, they still hate those “revenooers”. Hell, there are still Stills running up in those mountains.

I don’t buy the official story, and would like to see the autopsy notes. I know, they won’t let me have them, but I’d like to see them all the same. I smell a rat.

My own family comes from that general area, Bee. And given all the circumstances, I don’t have a reason to believe other than what the official story is. Yet, at least.

  4. S.W, Anderson Says:

I share Bee’s skepticism. I’m not saying the official findings are wrong. I would just like some more details.

From what came out earlier about the deceased, he was a pretty level-headed, usually upbeat guy. He was also supposed to be fairly bright. He would’ve known faking his own death in such a bizarre way would trigger lots of media attention and police scrutiny, probably insurance investigators’ scrutiny as well. He also would’ve known the chance of collecting on a big, recently acquired insurance policy would be slim to none.
