Time For Reid to FINALLY Grow a Pair

LIEberman is a self-serving snake who is only in Congress because he couldn’t possibly rake in the kind of payola he gets anywhere else. Hell, his wife rakes it in too, because the pharmas and health insurers who own LIEberman are anxious to continue to have a proxy vote in the Senate. Therefore, they pay her nasty ass off too.
Harry Reid can do a lot to staunch that gravy train. He can strip Holy Joe of his charimanships, and relegate him to a back bench. Who cares if he caucuses with his fellow shitbags in the Rushpubliscum caucus?
He’s practically there with them now, after all.
Senator Joe Lieberman, a former Democrat-turned-predatory money grubber independent, is at it again — fellating comforting Republicans and bending over irritating Democrats.
This time Lieberman is doing it by saying, “I probably will sell my ass out to the people who pay best support some Republican candidates” in next year’s congressional election – even though he’s still a member of the Senate Democratic Caucus.
“I’m going to call them as I see the most benefit to me them,” he said in an interview with ABC News that the network posted on its web site on Friday.
Lieberman riled Democrats last year by campaigning for Republican presidential nominee John McCain. And he upset many of them again this week by saying he would help Republicans block their proposal to create a government-backed insurance program to compete with his pimp daddies private insurers.
When it comes to elections, Lieberman said, he backs people on both sides of the political aisle who are kindred spirits to his self-serving, corrupt ways more interested in getting things done rather than playing politics.
“There’s a hard core of partisan, passionate, hardcore Republicans,” he told ABC. “There’s a hard core of partisan Democrats on the other side.”
“And in between is the greedy and selfish larger group, which is people who really want to grab it all while they can see the right thing done, or want something good done for their bank accounts this country and them — and that means, sometimes, the better choice is somebody who’s going to wink at my corruption not a Democrat,” Lieberman said.
Go ahead. Look at LIEberman’s record for the last 20 years. If you don’t find that just about everything LIEberman ever backed had something to do with people who were backing LIEberman politically, I will personally send you the “Hooked on Phonics” set of DVDs.
LIEberman was right at home in the Reign of Error, when everybody was raping the country to benefit a select few people. LIEberman has lost his home now, however, and it’s past time to evict his fetid ass. Let him go be “number 41,” and schmooze with a bunch of other self-serving pieces of shit.
I still remember this little shit’s moralizing on what President Clinton had done. I was also well aware that supposed Orthodox people like him cannot divorce, so….. I smelt me a big whiff of hypocrisy even then. I thought he was a horrible choice for VP in 2000, and I think he may have cost Gore enough votes to allow Chimpy to fix the game once and for all. This guy has been an absolute disaster for this country, and he’s done it all to enrich himself.
If I were Reid, I wouldn’t want the little punk to caucus with me.

Lieberman needs to be cut loose from the party. If he wants to suck republicans, then he can BE a republican. Hell, he’s already one, anyway. He thinks he is betting the winning horse – he thinks that the repubes are going to regain their congressional majority in 2010, so he’s drafting behind them. Kind of like he thought that Gore would be the winner in 2000, so he backed Gore to the point he got to run for VP. He’ll say whatever he needs to say to be in with what he figures will be the “in” crowd. In other words, he’s about what you characterized him as, JR.

Bee, he unseated a lot better man than he was, and that man WAS a Republican. And you know how he did it? He got all the right-wingers to vote for him.
Some things don’t change.

This is what happens when we elect republicans masquerading as Democrats. Their inner asshole comes forth to screw the party who’s ideals they’re supposed to uphold. And in Benedict Lieberman’s case, even promised when he said a few years a go he was in favor of national health insurance.
The Democratic Party needs to do a better job educating us about candidates during primaries so this shit doesn’t happen.

(1.) I’m not a dem, but I do vote for a lot of them. (2.) Where do you get “violent” from? If you want to see “violent,” turn on Glenn Beck, or visit my buddies in the Rushpubliscum blogosphere.

Shhh, if you guys don’t tell on me, I know he has a set this week. Last week I sent good old fearless leader a set of truck nuts, I found at a gift store, through the mail. No idea if they got them to him, but I know they went to his office, I did signature required and went online to see the package was accepted. I sent them to make a point and that pleased me greatly.

LIEbermann has only two alliegences, Israel and his wallet; and not necessarily in that order.
