Any Questions?

Awhile back, we introduced you to the ties between “teabaggers” and “Minutemen,” pointing out that both groups are heavily influenced by white supremacists of the old “militia” mode. We pointed out that one of those Arizona “minuteman” advocates, Mr. Dennis Mahon, is an acquaintance of Oklahoma City bomber Tim McVeigh, from the days when both men spent a lot of time at white supremacist mecca Elohim City, Oklahoma.

In that “teabaggers” post I first linked to here, you’ll learn the story of Shawna Forde, one of those “patriots” that was down along the border “keeping America safe” from those dirty brown hordes. She was so intent on keeping us all safe from those filthy brown types that she applied a little Minuteman “justice” of her own to a Hispanic family, offing a 9 year old girl in the process (what she was there for was to rob them, but why split hairs? In Minuteman world, the outcome was good; the ends justify the means, after all.) Naturally, some of her colleagues are just appalled that the State of Arizona would take the murder of a brown child with a funny name seriously, and they’ve launched a website to correct what they see as a great miscarriage of justice/persecution of a great American patriot.

To arms, Minutemen! What’s next, showing the damned Injuns some respect? I mean, really…. what are we coming to?

Many members of the Minuteman movement scattered from Shawna Forde after she was accused in the May 30 killing of a dad and his young daughter in Arivaca. But now a handful of hard-liners are rallying to her defense.
They’ve set up a Web site, justiceforshawnaforde.com, arguing that Forde is being singled because of her race, gender and political views. The site says she’s innocent.
“Shawna’s become the target of a socialist government’s clumsy attempts to marginalize and terrorize America’s patriots,” a recent posting says.
The woman behind the Web site is Laine Lawless, a longtime anti-illegal-immigrant activist who lived in recent years in Southern Arizona but has left for the Phoenix area. Lawless, 59, founded the local group Border Guardians in 2005 and initiated the burning of Mexican flags in Tucson in 2006.
Local authorities have accused Forde, founder of the group Minutemen American Defense, of masterminding a plan to rob people she suspected of being drug traffickers to fund her group and initiate other activities.
She and two co-defendants are charged with killing 29-year-old Raul Junior Flores and his 9-year-old daughter, Brisenia, and with the attempted slaying of Flores’ wife during a home invasion at their Arivaca residence. Forde, 41, Jason E. Bush, 35, and Albert R. Gaxiola, 42, are being held in the Pima County jail. All three have pleaded not guilty.
“I’m tired of women getting screwed over by men in this movement,” Lawless said.
“Nobody in the Minuteman movement except for me is willing to talk to her.”
The man serving as the spokesman for the Web effort, John Lyon, said he was motivated by coverage of her case in a recent Phoenix New Times cover story.
“I’m not condoning any kind of criminal behavior, certainly not murder of a child or even of a drug dealer,” said Lyon, 51, a member of the Phoenix-area group United for a Sovereign America. “I’m sensitive to the issue of racial exploitation.
“They exploited her for her race, her sex and her political affiliations,” said Lyon, who wrote a 2002 master’s degree thesis on racial conflict at the Miracle Valley religious compound during the early 1980s near Sierra Vista.
In the news media, he said, “everybody else is protected, but white people are fair game.”

No, they’d NEVER advocate the murder of little children-and then go on and do EXACTLY that, in everything but blunt words.

How fucking DARE the State of Arizona prosecute this white woman for murder! It isn’t like she killed a human being AT ALL now, is it?

But seriously, now. What kind of person comes to the defense of someone that cold-bloodedly murdered a little kid in the course of a robbery? What kind of punishments would these shitbags be screaming for if it had been a Mexican drug gang that broke into a suburban tract house, and shot a little blonde girl? What in the FUCK in their upbringing turns out people like these? I’m quite sure that not a one of them has any objections to “Megan’s laws” or AMBER alerts.

Well, actually, I guess they would have objections, wouldn’t they? They sure as hell don’t seem to give a damn about little girls who happen to be nonwhite.

As you sit there and get angrier and angrier, remember that your favorite Rushpubliscum “teabagger” probably sees things about the same way that Laine Lawless sees them. There scumbags are a monolithic mass of human waste; there isn’t enough difference between them to separate them. It is no surprise that you’ll hear the likes of Glenn Beck and Ann Cuntler praising the “minutemen.” They are birds of a feather.

Pretty much any conservative is a white supremacist. Any effort to “turn back the clock to the days of old” means a return to white male dominated politics, culture, and family values. Those same people who deride the “60s counterculture” forget that it freed non-whites and woman from centuries of repression. Amazingly, some of those conservatives to who want to return to the good-old days of the 1950s are women…who seem to forget that should this happen, no one will allow them to voice their opinion in the first place.

Wil, truer words haven’t been spoken. When they talk about “tradition” it’s a dog-whistle word, and we all understand exactly what they mean. The saddest thing of all is that they think they’re being clever with their word substitutions.
