You can follow the guys who gave us this economy, a doubling of the national debt, and 2 unwinnable wars. All of them are notable for their lack of intelligence, their cowardice (all went to great lengths to avoid having to pick up a weapon and head to Vietnam,) and their dishonesty.

Or you can listen to a man who distinguished himself with honorable service to his country as the highest rankling officer in the United States Army, who is joined in his view of things by a former Governor and the first Secretary of the DHS.

Gosh, you’s think that it wouldn’t be that hard a choice, would you? But it is, because the cowardly dolts have driven out most of the thoughtful people, and you can’t get past the primaries without playing to them. Good luck staging a comeback while these clowns are still talking, Rushpublicans.

In the ongoing war of words between Rush Limbaugh and Colin Powell, top Bush strategist Karl Rove is siding with the popular talk radio host.

Appearing on Fox News Sunday, Rove said Limbaugh would edge out the former secretary of state if he “had to pick between the two.”

Rove’s comments come after a back-and-forth between Limbaugh and Powell, during which both have charged the other is hurting the GOP’s chances of success in the future.

Discussing divisions over the direction of the party in the wake of its losses in the 2006 midterm elections and 2008 presidential election, Powell said the party should expand its base.

“I have always felt that the Republican Party should be more inclusive than it generally has been over the years and I believe that we need a strong Republican Party that is not just anchored in the base but has built on the base to include more individuals,” he told “Face the Nation.”

It’s telling that the pedophile dope addict has so much sway in the Rushpublican Party. It is known, as we discussed before, that the average age of  a Dildohead is 67. And all of that “20 million listeners” crap the MSM likes to throw around is an optimistic assessment of the fat dope addict’s audience; Arbitron tries hard to track radio, but the tracking of radio listeners is no easy task, and a few points can usually be safely shaved from an Arbitron guesstimate. It is far more likely that Oxy-Moron actuall averages less than 20 million listeners on an average day, and the number might be closer to 10 million. 13 million listeners is probably a fairly accurate take on the pedophile’s daily average audience. Given that the US has somewhere in the neighborhood of 300,000,000 people, even if we go with the generous estimate of 20 million, we eind up with 6% of the American population. In reality, the number is probably under 5%

And with that 5% or so, Oxy-Moron rules the Rushpublican Party. Anyone who calls him or herself a Rushpublican cannot get past a state-level primary cycle without furiously catering to the fat pedophile. This guarantees that most Rushpublican candidates will be radical morons. In 2008, Oxy-Moron ensured the elevation of Caribou Barbie to the top of a national ticket, and most of the candidates he likes possess similar levels of intelligence and ethics.

Powell and Ridge could do this country a big favor and go their own way. They would draw measurable numbers from both parties, because most of us have absolutely had it with getting served the same old plate of shit, day after day. And maybe ignorant ass-clowns like Oxy-Moron, Crooked Lip, and Der Rovesmarschall would have to go back to their undisclosed locations and let this country start repairing itself.
