Wingtards Who Fail: Life After Lunacy
Never was there a nuttier wungtard in Congress than Marilyn Musgrave. Her desire to see gays stoned, women who abort lethally injected, Terri Schiavo beatified, and all non-Jesusistanis shot, blown up, or jailed made her a wingtard a little more noxious than most. Can we ever forget what she had to say about Schiavo?
When we talk about a permanent vegetative state, I am offended by that.
You bet she was, since that description hits a little too close to home for this wingtard goddess. I feel bad for the child who she homeschooled; talk about detachment from reality! Imagine spending every waking hour being “taught” by one of the looniest wack jobs to ever draw a breath. Unsurprisingly, Musgrave managed, with her holy roller lunatic positions, to flip a seat that had been in Gopper hands for over 30 years into the dem column. She was a complete and utter failure who never did anything worthwhile for her constituents in the 6 years that she was in Congress.
You’d think that someone who had failed so badly might take a little time to try to learn how to succeed. Well if you were talking about Musgrave, you’d be wrong; she thinks that it was just a few meanie libruls who cost her her seat, and that Americans are anxious to vote based on what a lunatic holy roller tells them is good. So Marilyn has decided to take her failure on the road, trying to unseat dems in vulnerable districts. If she’s as good at this as she was as a Congresscritter, a lot of “vulnerable” dems will owe her a debt of gratitude in 2010.
Republican Marilyn Musgrave, who was defeated in last year’s election for a Colorado seat in the U.S. House of Representatives, has found a new job – director of a project to unseat other members of Congress.
Musgrave, who lost the congressional seat she had first won in 2002 to Democrat Betsy Markey after a close and bitter campaign marked by negative attack ads, will head up a project of the anti-abortion group, the Susan B. Anthony List, to target congressional seats in the next election cycle.
“With this new program we are going to go into districts where people are likely to be vulnerable, and we are going to give those families a clear message as to how these congressmen and women are voting,” Musgrave said to reporters.
“We are going to say very clearly that these votes do have consequences as we use every form of media to defeat these people who are pro-abortion,” she said.
President Barack Obama angered abortion opponents by lifting some restrictions on the use of federal funds for embryonic stem cell research. A contentious issue during the debate over a $410 billion spending bill, signed into law by Obama this week, was money included for a U.N. family planning agency that Republicans were concerned could fund organizations that supported abortion.
Someone probably ought to inform the Jesusistani wingtards that they beat the abortion horse into the ground. It’ll only get you votes in profoundly wingtard areas of the country, where they will only vote for wingtards anyway. The rest of us have wised up; we see how much value our lives have to the “culture of life.” And Marilyn Musgrave, perhaps more than most, exemplifies the “from the womb to the tomb, for all I care” mentality of the Jesusistani wingtards.
