Rudy: ‘I was at Ground Zero more than anybody.’

Somebody check his schedule. I know Rudy previously boasted of attending all those funerals. Only Rudy could be in two places at the same time. He’s was a SuperMayor!!

Alright, if Rudy can’t be honest on easily verifiable facts regarding himself, how can we trust him to be honest about anything??

In Ohio on Thursday, Republican presidential candidate Rudy Giuliani R-NY handed his critics new ammunition regarding his role surrounding 9/11.

Speaking to reporters in Cincinnati, Giuliani said: “I was at ground zero as often, if not more, than most of the workers. … I was there working with them. I was exposed to exactly the same things they were exposed to. So in that sense, I’m one of them.”

Michael Palladino, head of the Detectives Endowment Association, the union of NYPD detectives, told the Associated Press that the mayor’s record can’t compare to those who spent 12 months sifting through toxic debris for evidence and human remains.

“As a result of their hard work, many are sick and injured. The mayor, although he did a fine job with 9/11, I don’t think he rises to the level of being an equal with those men and women who were involved in the rescue, recovery and cleanup,” Palladino said.

The former New York City mayor has already faced a large wave of criticism from first responders and relatives of those killed at the World Trade Center, who have contended that Giuliani was woefully unprepared for 9/11.

How does Rudy squeeze that giant head through all those tiny doors?? He’s the SuperMayor!! He can do anything!!

My question then is why aren’t you sick Mr. Giuliani? The Straw Polls will show if you are actually leading in your party. All indications show that of all people Mr. Romney has that lead. Maybe that statement should not have been said among other things.

He did seem to be there a hell of a lot, mostly mugging for the cameras, not actually doing anything useful or productive.

The guy is definately a ‘Bush wannabe’.

“The truth shall never cross my lips” ought to be his campaign slogan.

  5. TomCat Says:

There is a great source for the truth about Guiliani’s involvement in the aftermats of 9/11: his own firefighters.

  6. Larry Says:

Bernard Kerik was there more than Guiliani since the firefighters relief apartment was next to ground zero, and Kerik spent much of each day and night slithering up the carcass of neocon dame Judith Regan at this site!

  7. sally Says:

Rudy, Rudy, Rudy, why give people something can so easily check? Haven’t you learned after the Kerik debacle?
