Long Time Gone
I just got back, and I already regret it.
6 days in a tent. No TV, no radio, only local newspapers. In a rare Earthly paradise to boot.
If you’re an Ohioan and you’ve never visited East Harbor State Park, you should endeavor to get yourself there. I have roamed far and wide, and this remains the place of places for me. As the rest of the Lakefront falls to the condo developer, East Harbor remains as it was. As Lake Erie was. To not see it is to cheat yourself.

People don’t associate Ohio with lighthouses. They’re here, quite a few of them.
