Thinking Bloggers Award — IV
Reconstitution has been tagged for the Thinking Blogger Award for the first second third fourth time, this time by Ron at Revolt Today. Thanks to all for deeming us worthy of this award, we do appreciate it.
The rules are simple:
1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think,
2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme,
3. Optional: Proudly display the ‘Thinking Blogger Award’ with a link to the post that you wrote (here is an alternative silver version if gold doesn’t fit your blog).
While it would be easy enough to tag some of the larger, well-known blogs, I’d rather put the spotlight on lesser-known blogs that deserve a larger readership.
Prairie Weather often comes up with unique and insightful posts, pointing out stories that escape the MSM and even most other bloggers. On her companion blog, The Scribe, she transcribes radio interviews for all eternity.
John Cole’s (with Tim F.) Balloon Juice is written by a confessed former wingnutter who saw the light and abandoned the party that abandoned him. For some reason, the wingers failed to revoke his Pajamas Media credentials which sometimes results in hilarity!!
Roscoe at Bottle of Blog delivers biting commentary on our Government and media.
Calculated Risk is a financial and economic market group blog specializing in banking and housing. For those interested in such things, this is a good place to watch the daily drama and spin.
And finally, Bring It On is another group blog with posts from the right and left on a wide range of topics, though mostly on politics. There is almost always something there that makes me angry and/or laugh.

Congrats on the award, not your first and not your last. I also like to look at the blogs that get little notice.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that…
