JR: although I agree on principle with your post, there is something that has to be taken into account here. For instance, you wrote:

That is true. However, out of the whole number of eligible voters, what is the actual proportion which gets its “real” news from blogs and the blogosphere, instead of the MSM?

Far too few in between, I’m afraid.

Consequently, what is the actual impact of the blogosphere in informing acurately the electorate?

Little – unfortunately enough.

That is why I agree strongly with Brad’s concept of the necessity of casting a wider net …

The thing is that we need to discriminate between the good Dems and the bad Dems. Thankfully, the Senators and Representatives do that themselves in choosing which coalitions they join. Bad Blue Dogs = Often have racist/Jesusistani tendencies, Republican enablers. Democratic Leadership Council/New Democrats = Pro-business/anti-union, pro-war, pro-Military-Industrial complex. Good Congressional Progressive Caucus = Fairness for all. The Concord Coalition = Promoting fiscal responsibility in government. Out Of Iraq Congressional Caucus = Get out of Iraq, now!!

I’m with you there, JR. I started getting fed up with the Dems about March or April. We need to totally clean house. The few good ones will have to be considered ‘collateral damage’. These people need to realize that they represent the people; all the people, not just the wealthy people.

I agree that we need to dump all the Dem’s who have been enabling Der Fuhrer Bush. Schumer is one of them as he help Judas Iscariot Leiberman come up with the independent run that kept him in office.

I understand though about getting tired over nothing being done by those who should be honoring their oath to uphold the Constitution. There have been many High Crimes and Misdemeanors committed the Der Fuhrer and the Dark Lord and still can not fathom why they won’t impeach these bastards before they take us into World War III when they attack Iran.

With monitoring phone calls, emails and computer or letters wrote by the Peoples Representatives, along with the power to arrest them by labeling them Enemy Combatants I always thought that they were afraid for their lives.

Now I have my doubts about that. If there are elections and I don’t believe there will be, will the Democrats resind the Patriot Act, MCA of 2006 and the signing statements along with executive orders that strip our freedoms and Democracy from us or will they keep them and use them against us?

That is the lingering question I wonder about daily. Do we have to have another Revolution to return our Country back to what our forefathers left for us or are we doomed to a long bloody dictatorship?

I guess we will all know soon enough.
